Sure there was plenty of advertising in MA but I never got the impression that articles were just long ads. Certainly not like the mainstream rags.
Really, lots of MA stuff was junkyard based.

Ohhh yeah I picked up the latest issue of Cartoons magazine  The last ,best and only mopar magazine I still bought before they shut things down was MoparAction magazine.

The internet replaced magazines and they are never coming back. I too was a car magazine fanatic back in the 90's and thats exactly why car forums like this were some of the most popular spots in the internets beginning. Hot rod may have been onto something years back when they had their own website and forum like this, it was pretty popular but they got rid of it for some reason. That would have been a good way to at least keep a digital format of a car magazine alive. Moparconnectionmagazine.com best on line magazine and it is licensed by Mopar. There is even a link to it on the forums. No magazine can duplicate the awesome videos that moparconnectionmagazine post on YouTube. They just posted a complete conversion from an automatic to Tremic 5 speed in a 69 Charger. No print magazine can do that.
