Callies iron blocks just google them and see what bores they have. FHO has used a few for customers that wanted an iron block. I have see a few for sale on mopar sites and ebay just take a look around.

I understand that a new Hemi block is a large purchase. Why would you spend $5500-6000 for an iron block when you can get an aluminum one for $1500 more? Repairable and 150 lbs lighter. Because it will be street only and I don’t want a block that ‘moves’ around in the cold to hot cycle and please don’t say aluminum won’t grow. Besides it’ll look dumb with cast iron heads.

Surely one of the vendors will have a Callies block. 4.25 bore might be harder though. I assume they mainly sell 4.500. But I don't know that.

Paint bock orange....Absolutely NO reason to not run an aluminum block on the street. good luck finding a 4.25" bore, only one who MIGHT be close is Jason Lines stuff but it comes with other things you likely wont need for a street car like a 60MM cam.

Paint and headers hide a lot of sin😁 Besides, aluminum requires some extra care, bur it isn't unworkable. Run a bit tighter main bearing clearance, expect .008 to .010 deck hieght growth, and i would go aluminum heads as well if you can budget for it. Now you have a kller hemroid, and about 150 lbs less up front!

I have a slightly used one here I bought from Callies, some time ago....I might let it go, but its not free....I actually have two, one is a complete engine that could go for the right price as well.

Can you tell us how much street driving you did with your aluminum hemi block? And which block was it?

Painted mine orange because I wanted that kind of stock look since Istreet drive it , but a race car at the same time. Also running a 60mm as well.
