My scrap guy got this one in two weeks ago and cut the running gear out thinking it wasn’t worth anything. He’s offering it up for $699 by the weekend before he sends it out for scrap. Your scrap guy is an idiot! There is a guy in Illinois buying these up and putting Cummins engines in them from old Fed Ex trucks. There is a huge following for these things!
The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

That would not last one day in California.

Your scrap guy is an idiot! There is a guy in Illinois buying these up and putting Cummins engines in them from old Fed Ex trucks. There is a huge following for these things! he charges $1000-$2000 to scrap motorhomes and small yard like his that hold only 30-40 vehicles costs $10k a month without expenses, so he does not have time to investigate if vehicles have a certain value.
