66 sucks, but the alternative is probably worse...LOL

I just keep telling myself that I'm 20 years younger than I really am, and except for the mirror, I seem to believe it One of the hardest-working racers I know is in his 80s - he thinks nothing of a converter change or pulling a cylinder head at the track. Slightly less hard-working 83-year-old runs a '57 Chevy with a column 3-speed, though he gets help for trans & diff swaps. Knew a guy in his mid-90s who toured his 4-speed GTO around the country visiting friends. At 72, I'm still crawling around under cars & doing some remodeling & construction work... Likely that's a mix of my Dad's "mind over matter" voice in my head, stubbornness, and good health, for which I'm thankful. "Don't let the old man in"

Thanks guys! I am sitting on my recliner watching war documentaries and watching the rain come down. Will go to Giordano's and get some stuffed pizza in a bit. Just got a coupon for 50% off too! Sounds like a nice way to spend a birthday! Happy Birthday.

"Don't let the old man in" i try not to "let the old man in", but having MS and other health issues for many years has kicked me good ! i at least try to work in the shop 5 or 6 hours every day, but some days it isn't possible............
