Looking for suggestions on a source for colored tape in lieu of painting stripes on my car.

Anyone have recent experience with a source for this tape?

3M makes tape in that size in the basic colors.

Sign shop with a plotter can cut whatever width and length and color you want.

Vinyl wrap shop may be able to do it also + they can alter the colors and do fades etc. if you want to get creative with it.

There is some stuff called cutting tape. It's for use with vinyl wraps. It's a fine line tape with a wire imbedded into it. Depending on what you want to do, you could lay out your stripes with that cutting tape. Then put your vinyl down on top. Then simply pull the wire out. I thought about doing that with my Dart. It would be a decent way to lay out some carbon fiber vinyl stripes.

That sounds like a great idea. I’ll look into that. I have an irregular pattern on two longitudinal stripes. The others are exactly 4” wide so just need to trim to length.

Thanks.
