you could pick up a cheap dial indicator and magnetic base. lay a straight edge accross the cylinder, zero the gauge, then remove the straight edge (being careful not to move the indicator) and bring the piston to TDC to take a reading. use your calipers to measure the thickness of the straight edge and subtract that from the total indicated reading on the dial indicator. should get you close enough ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beer.gif)

That is about right.
I think mine varied from .100 to .115
