Yeah, I'm not taking insurance or car repair advice from Ice-T and a woman who played a character called "Lysterine" in a movie called "Booty Call."

Nope.

I doubt they cover a 28 year old vehicle with 240K so i'm out. Not that i would even consider this to begin with. And having a guy that put out a song called "cop killer" is a real good choice for a spokesmen. realcrazy

Seems safe to assume which folks they're targeting with their choice of spokes-celebrities.

She sure went downhill fast after the movie Independence Day! No aftermarket warranties are worth a plugged nickle, but factory extended warranties sure are, especially if you have a transmission in your truck! DAMHIK! laugh2

I've always read never buy a warrantee from aftermarket...they are more likely to go bankrupt the the auto maker. If going to purchase an extended warranty best to go with the auto maker.

Side note: Hate their commercials because Ice T has to still try and talk like he's a 20 year old. 70 year old man with the "hey ya'll, it's ya boy Ice T" sounds really dumb to me

I don't believe in extended warranties but if you really get one then get it from the vehicle manufacturer.

Several years ago, our friends bought a used BMW from the local dealer. The salesman pushed the aftermarket warranty real hard, even claiming that BMW didn't offer an extended warranty on used cars! I advised our friends to go to another BMW dealer, bring along the VIN of what they were buying, and get a warranty quote from them. It turned out that they bought the BMW warranty from the other dealer for less than the local guy wanted for the aftermarket warranty. The local salesman was pi**ed! All's fair in love and war...

Notice Danica Patrick is in the mix now. Funny seeing her talk about damage when all she did is wreck cars.

But I will say shes looking pretty good these days at 41 IMO.
