Methyl Ethyl Ketone used to be the active ingredient in any carb cleaner that actually worked.

Well They are done, I decided against either of the 2 zep products.

Carb on left was dipped in Berryman carb cleaner overnight. it came out , OK .

Carb on right I used a mixture of simple green 50/ 50 water mix. Soaked in cooled mixture overnight . After about an hour in the heated mix.

No sonic cleaners available locally.
So filled a cheap turkey roasting pan and heated it on outdoor gas grill set at lowest heat setting I could get it. Heated the mix for maybe 5-10 minutes . Then turned the grill off and dropped them in and let them soak for a bit

Hard to tell in pictures.

But I like the finish on the right one better ( it's the front Carb btw )

I'm sold

I want to thank Scott Smith on his advice on how to do them .
I owe ya one
