Clean, well-thoughtout, close to the hwy for entering and exiting, very nice facilities, just one problem...1/8 mile!

We have very few 1/4 mile tracks in Texas, almost all racing is 1/8 mile.
One gets used to it .
Shoot, Top Fuel is running very close to 300mph at 1/8 pretty consistently now- whew!!!

All the drag cars I've built and driven are in high gear before the 1/8 mile lights. My message is all the drivers work is done except driving the finish line work
The plus side of 1/8 mile racing is most racing damage is done on the starting line or in the last 300 ft before the finish line in the 1/4 mile work up
Another thing is you get more laps in the day at the 1/8 mile tracks also up boogie

Yes. Someone please buy this track. It’s my home track and I live about 2 miles from it. My kids grew up racing Jr dragsters there and we were just shifting to a fast door car when my first wife destroyed us and the kids. It was bought by a guy who improved the track in many ways but just got tired of running it because he was just too old to deal with it. Then he was injured in an accident. It was always full of cars. He just spent a ton of money on new concrete pits. Several people have wanted to buy it just for the land but he wants it to continue on as a drag strip. The realtor Simmons, is one of the guys that built it. It’s a nice track. We need a place to race. It attracts people from hundreds of miles around. I-20 is a major interstate so it is easy to get to.
