Have a 71 cuda that I am doing some work to for a customer. It is a 340 4 speed car, Have the new wiring harness for the 4 speed that goes to the dash indicator. Car is all together but missing that. Wondering if anyone might have the location of the hold the wiring should be going through from the transmision up into the car?

Thanks

corey

Everything in this post has been copied/pasted from the e-bodies.org forum. It's noteworthy to say that 1970 Cuda reverse light is in a different location. Hopefully your firewall has a dimple there.

Is that an undrilled hole on auto trans cars? If so, it sounds like a good way to determine a 3 speed or 4 speed car.

I found this of a '71 Cuda and it shows the dimple (undrilled hole) location. Also read somewhere that the hole for a '70 is 3/4" and a '71 is 1", best to measure the grommet you have.

also never would have guessed 70 and 71 be different.
