Never, ever argue with an IDIOT. They will drag you to their level and then beat you with their years of experience

I just bought the winning powerball ticket. As long as it doesn’t blow out on the way to claim it, you’ll be doing doughnuts in that car soon enough. Stay tuned.

I want my fair share

So...what's up with the Belvedere ? I can see the engine's the wrong shade of orange, the Valiant hub caps, and a couple other details...

I'm more of a Belvedere guy than a convertible guy, not that it matters.
I'd guess the GTX could hit $140,000 or thereabouts at auction.
The Belvedere might do $70-80,000 - maybe more, depending on a few things.
Folks at auctions generally don't seem as Mopar-savvy as I think they should be...

Was marked unsold , then an hour later marked sold

I looked this car over pretty hard for a friend of mine .

I talked to the guy there representing the seller. Super nice guy btw

I was told reserve was $175K.

The car was quite rough underneath. Typical Ohio car was rusty and poorly repaired ,,,, IMO only

Decent driver ./ 10 footer . But DESPERATELY need blown apart and done right
Paint wasnt near as nice in person and as it looked online or TV

Again, IMO ONLY

A buddy of mine asked me if I would trade my car for it??? NOPE !

Rare car. No underside pictures in the Mecum ad. Hopefully buyer was aware of what lurks under that paint and the bondo doesn't fall out anytime soon.

Looks pretty crusty underneath, but If you want one, what can you do but bid to win? They don't come up for sale too often, and they are dirt cheap compared to any of the 68-71 Hemi 'verts.

Joel, Fortunately it looked like the rust was limited to the lower quarters and trunk floor extensions and a little bit in the body panel behind the rear bumper. Best I could tell, floors and the rest of the car were solid.
Still retains its original engine and trans both of which are real low miles since built
Its just a shame such a high dollar car was done on the cheap. Compared to trying to fix it now will be expensive + difficult.

Friend of mine interested in the car wants a real 1967 Hemi GTX vert, preferably a 4spd. But an auto car isn't a deal killer for the right car.
He decided to pass on this one and wait it out to get a better car.
