Hey guys, does anyone know the correct Arp head stud kit for using Trick Flow 270 heads with Bill Mitchel Aluminum block ?
As always, thanks so much.

Rusty,

The part number is Trick Flow # TFS-61604304. I believe ARP builds those exclusively for Trick Flow and that may be why they have no listing for them. I found the number in the documentation for the cylinder head
on the TFS website, in case this helps others.

Cheers,

Mike

Rusty,
When you get that head stud kit, could you measure them for comparison?
Also, note if all the long studs are the same length, or if some are one length, and others are a little different like Indy 440-1 heads use.

Thanks,
Jim

I expect all the long studs for the TF270 heads to be the same length.
These are my quick measurements of one head. The head thickness at each bolt hole.

And if you want to estimate the amout of exposed threads above the nuts, I use:
(0.430 Nut height, 0.120 Washer thickness, 0.040 Gasket) and whatever the coarse thread length is on the studs into the block.
