Whats funny is people will complain you can’t build anything because it’s too expensive, but talk about how great of a deal 20K crate engines available to other people are. Most of you jokers wouldn’t spend 20K anyway, even if you did wear bowties.

There is no “Mopar Tax.” There is a Chevy discount, that is all. Stop kidding yourselves.

Theres LOTS of cheap Chevy guys too (see the popularity of the small block Chevy for evidence), but there are more Chevy guys, and therefore more who aren’t cheap.

Thinking about this more, maybe the Trick Flow knock offs will help drive more affordable blocks, because if they work as good as the TF heads it will put more people in the range of block busting power (especially if they offer a MW version). Probably not, but maybe. I know pulling the caps on my 500 HP 440 scared me a bit when I saw some fretting on them, even with ARP main studs. But I have some TF 270s ready to install sometime soon.

You guys sound so stupid when you say this kinda crap. Why would cheap guys pick one of the most expensive cars of the bunch to build if we’re cheap. Stupid maybe but not cheap.

Yeah you guys are super special with your high priced collector cars. It’s Mopar guys against the world. Big aftermarket is out to screw Mopar guys.

I agree with John mopar market is and always will be the most expensive so i never considered mopar people to be that cheap ive been building mopars since 1975 if i was that cheap i would of switched to sbc a long time ago. I have no problem paying for good current technology but we don't get much of it with mopar unlike chev and ford

I don't care what it costs. Mopars have always been more expensive, but I enjoy them much more than working on all of my buddies Chevy, Fords, Buick and Oldsmobiles.

No!! We don´t need new heads...

We need a low deck cast block with RB mains, 4-bolt mains and 4,5" bore for a start..... From a good reliable manufacturer. Second, another L/D intake with M/W ports and 4500 flange, I hope Trick Flow wakes up and see here is a gap to fill.

I have send mail to T/F circa 6 months ago.
Obviously they don't know how the market for L/D intake with M/W ports and 4500 flange look like. Well, I have not seen a intake from Edelbrock. And open up my current T/F intake to M/W ports is not a option.

Hello,

At this time we only offer 1 intake for the large port of the 270 Head, and that is the TFS-61600115 Intake for the RB Engines. As far as Intake options, Indy Cylinder Head should offer one for the low deck, Edelbrock should offer one, and the current TF Intake you have can have the ports opened up.

Thanks,

I'm now looking for upgrade to the 270 heads, so I wanted a R-series intake for a Low Deck Mopar BB. This market is a open road for T-F with ONLY 1 intake that has MW ports ( Indy) The Indy Intake need much work to be a good intake.
I want that Trick Flow Low Deck R-series Intake right now.
