Planning to attend the Indy swap meet this Friday. In what are should I look for a safe hotel? Or are there areas I should avoid looking for a hotel?
Thanks

Never stayed in a motel in that area, just drove down and back same day. It's 2-1/2 to 3 hours one way from here

I'm up at the Baymont NW over by the Pyramids. I think it was $75 a night. Nice area, well rated hotel. I used to stay at the one around the corner, but they jacked up their prices after a renovation.

We used to stay at the Super 8 on east 82nd Street, but it is not a very nice motel. There is a Drury Inn right across from it on Shadeland Ave that is pretty nice. It is on the off ramp from I-69 that turns into Binford Ave that runs right to the Fairgrounds.

We're staying at the Hotel Baymont by Wyndham in Plainfield Thursday night. It just west of the Indy Airport.
Decent reviews, we've stayed in that area before.

We'll only be at the swap Friday, we're there to buy stuff and pick up an order from Stephens Performance.

Kayse is also delivering a T-Shirt Quilt they made for a customer.

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

It is a 7 hour drive for me. So need to grab a motel near the Fair gfrounds, but want to be in a safe area that I don't have to worry about my car not being there in the AM
