Not sure if this seller understands what "survivor" means.

One of my buddy's says that if it's still on the road it's a Survivor. laugh2
I've given up on trying to explain what a true survivor car is to him.
He also looks for the biggest pieces of crap that are rare cars to have restored back to stock and spends insane amounts of money doing it so he can claim it's a survivor. realcrazy

He ridiculously wealthy so the money part means nothing to him.

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

Usually, it means right after a car is bought new, wheels are swapped, headers put on, new intake, etc, etc.

Not knocking this car but it seems well past 'day 2' modifications.

OK day 3 when the 18 year old could afford to buy it wink

Yeah, not for the purist guys, but appears to be a solid car with an asking price within the ballpark.

Not sure I know of many people that on "day 2" cut their inner fenders out for headers, but it is his story.

Never, ever argue with an IDIOT. They will drag you to their level and then beat you with their years of experience

I Like it. If it was close and I had space, may consider it for a fun driver at that price.

I'm with CSK- not sure what all the fuss is about. An original big block a body with one rust spot, decent interior and a hot big block for $21K? A few changes and it would look much more stock. Compared to a project car- I imagine the fenderwells can go back together pretty easy compared to complete floor pans, trunk and quarters. Put it back to stock if you are motivated- not hard at all.

Thats one kick ass car. For so many who strive for the day 2 look... 20k and BAM its 1980. Cheap way to anger many in all the right ways.

I don't think anyone is criticizing the car, just the claim of being a "true survivor" when the car is heavily modified and has been half repainted. That's all. shruggy

I think the car is pretty cool.

Exactly. iagree

His claim to it being a survivor is what's being questioned.

Maybe the original owner bought the car to go drag racing. I've replaced the plugs on a street version of a big block A body, I could see the desire to remove those inner fenders about the 2nd time I needed to check the plug readings. If you have never experienced changing the plugs on a big block A body, you have no idea what you are missing.
