Business coupe, lots of them had no back seat. and they had built in shelfs in back and they often had a place for a guy to stick his legs thru and sleep along the road. Many moons ago, the Watkins man and Fuller brush man would stop at our farm and sell things .. both of those guys drove old business coupes. poorboy I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 10,562 Freeport IL USA	In the 48 Plymouth line up, the body of the OP would have been a club coupe and would have had a back seat. The Plymouth business coupe didn't have the belt line around the rear of the roof so the transition from the roof to the trunk was much more smooth, but was still a 5 window coupe with a 6' long trunk. The 3 window Dodge and Desoto business coupes had the short passenger compartment (ended behind the front seat) and the long trunk lid that looked to be a mile long. I prefer the Plymouth 5 window business coupe.
