6PAX OP master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 5,613 Detroit area	When greasing the steering linkage components with the grease gun, should you pump the grease in before or after tightening up the pivot nuts?

mopars4ever I Live Here M Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 13,574 md	After tightening IMO, if before it may just squeeze the excess out anyhow. Also I do not pop the grease out of the boots. Just till I see it fill the boot some.

Plus if you ever get a new part with no place to grease it, remove the boot and pack the joint with grease. It is very common for many new parts to be non-greasable and they don't put enough, or sometimes any, grease in the joint.
