In the last few years it seems the delivery drivers ( Amazon suspected) seem to have a fondness for tagging my retaining wall. OK so it's now time to replace it which I'm doing with retaining wall blocks.
Assuming the blocks will stand up better they will still be vulnerable to MORON'S.
Any suggestions on how to protect the new wall without putting posts up which won't be appealing to the eye?

Put a couple cameras out there so you can (a) figure out exactly who hits it, and (b) get reimbursed for the damage.

Depending on the type of truck you could terrace it so the tires hit the bottom first and nothing else above that gets touched? It looks like some of the marks are pretty low to the ground though? Bottom row material would need to be built extra stout so it doesn't move.

Or remove the wood and rebuild it by stacking large rocks all over it and if they run into them no big deal.

After you repair/rebuild it have a sign made NO DELIVERY TRUCKS, VANS, OR VEHICLES IN DRIVEWAY! That might minimize it, but it will never stop those Amazon drivers, they are the most unprofessional of the lot.

Put some trees in planters in front. Besides running interference for your retaining wall, they'll add some green to your landscape.

Ring camera and file claims.

I wouldn’t do anything to try and prevent anything. Landscape your home as you want it to be. They will destroy whatever you install just the same.

They use a neighbors driveway like it’s a public roadway. Personally I couldn’t take the headlights shining in at night and would do some sort of motorized gate. They drive off the edge too. Luckily I have an unappealing driveway.

I want my fair share

So Far I like Dart4forte's idea 🎯💥🤣🤣🤣. I do have security cameras but one doesn't always notice it right away and the vehicle blocks the area so it's hard t o confirm which one did the damage.
might try changing to a higher resolution camera.
Also thought about trying some sort of alarm to warn the flipping idiots or signs that say no delivery vehicles beyond this point. Not too fond of that and not sure they'd pay any more attention to them than they do backing up 🤬.

Any other ideas? beer

Similar to what Neil posted, (the tiered wall or rocks) you could possibly do some kind of curbing & set the wall back from it. It can be something that matches the wall, or just do a RR tie curbing.

Maybe you can reface the existing wall with bolted on lumber at bumper height that can be replaced periodically.

Game camera mounted under that overhang set to record video. Relatively cheap and easy. Make THEM pay for your future upgrades.

HMM hadn't even thought of that up I can likely tie into the existing system or look into a one camera setup that is dedicated to that location
Thanks 🍺🍺🍺
