My first JIMBERT. I get at LEAST a dozen a day! Not fair to keep this to myself.

Customer sends email, gaskets don't fit. Can anyone tell why smile

Why correct terminology is important.

Right, and that is the correct terminology.

New one.

Customer wanted to know if my 68-70 B Body Tank Pad was exactly (dimensions given to an 1/8") like his. But how is he sure his is the "Gold Standard". He didn't say that he had an engineering drawing.

I told him....
1) ours isn't made from "brown asbestos felt" like oem cause you cant get it. Amstrong Insulation went bankrupt because of all thier asbestos products.
2) ours doesn't come with the "indented pattern" (thats the correct name for the specific waffle pattern - nope, not even the thin waffled pad on the market isn't the correct material or pattern - or thickness)
3) ours doesn't come with the Armstrong logo - a white capital A in a white circle about 1-1/2" in dia.
So ours would not meet the "Gold Standard" either smile
