Been awhile since on this project. It went for a tweek on the turbo plumbing last spring. Then back to the owner during race season. The enginge parts came out of the machine shopthis fall. Screwed it back together along with a trans. Car came back after Thanksgiving. A lot of little fab work. Throttle and kickdown cable brackets, custom dipstick tube, hidden wiring, radiator rework, custom shroud and fan mounting, all the turbo accessories, Trans over flow, trans lies and cooler, fuel plmbing. Had to space he K frame down for hood clearance. Space the motor mount up slightly for exhaust manifold to steering shaft clearance. Modify the radiator necks to clear. Every day has been a new adventure of something that doesn't fit. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. It should run in the next week. Doug

Got a feeling on how fast it will be? I’ve been pondering this same approach for 2 years. This isn't an all out race build. No trans brake, no Dana, no roll bar, not a huge fuel pump, etc... It went 9.55@142mph in my car, and an A body has to be 250lbs lighter than my 3740lb weight. I'm sure it'll be in the 10s without breaking a sweat before it gets thrown out.

Any pictures of the said Duster? It will get 71 style 340 stripes. Also gets a shark tooth grille. Doug

Sounds enticing keep us posted. Like to see a list of items you’re using, other the pipes. Nice Duster
