Seems like that might be a little hard on my kitchen floor, cabinets, fridge, drywall...

peppermint oil or extract works extremely well. I wouldn't put it in the car but rather soaked rags or containers of around the tires the odor lingers for some time but You'll have to keep an nose 🤣 on the smell to keep them away. but they hate the stuff This works for me ^^^

I've tried lots of stuff, but the best solution (for me) so far has been Grampa Gus peppermint pouches and bleach. For some reason those little buggers love my dually. Winter or summer they get in it...I don't drive it in the winter and at least weekly in the summer but constantly see signs they have been there. I leave snap traps, Bait and Grampa Gus pouches in there but if I do not routinely pour bleach around the perimeter of where it is parked they come back. I also bleach around my enclosed trailers. I got this idea from watching a Documentary on rodents. I learned they are "Scent Hunters" meaning they search for food and shelter following scent trails left by themselves or other rodents. Bleaching the perimeter breaks the trail. Another similar option but not easily done its to disturb the ground cover (aprox 24") around a given habitat area.

I once had a similar concern when storing my classic Mustang for the winter. I tried those ultrasonic pest repellers, hoping they'd do the trick, but unfortunately, they didn't seem to make much of a difference. However, I've heard mixed reviews from others. Some swear by them, while others say they're not effective. It might depend on the specific pests and your car's environment. You could give them a shot, but it's always good to have a backup plan. If you're looking for more insights, I stumbled upon this site https://pestcontrolcompanies.net/ while researching pest control solutions. They might have some helpful tips or alternative methods to consider.

Victor wooden snap traps and peanut butter. Catch about one in the shop every other month.

When we were still parking our cars outside we developed an issue with mice for (unmentioned reasons) LOL. I found these to be quite effective LINKYBut not sure if I would rely on them in your situation. The only other thing I found to work extremely well was Peppermint oil /extract. I would treat rags with it placed around the tires which is their normal path of attack. The scent is STRONG and lasts a month or more before needing to retreat. You can check AMZ for reviews and buy there as well as a local store. I do have several of the Victor zappers, if interested PM me. I won't be surprised if you don't
