Well guys, it's been a hot minute since I last checked in here, but I am back at my desk and ready to sell some parts. I parked the computer last June in favor of my toolbox and decided to go flat-rating again, but if I had a nickel for every time in my career that I've heard "We are so backed up" and "We have so much work, you will never run out", I'd be rich. Besides, there's something about working on hybrids and electric cars that just doesn't excite me.

I'm looking forward to helping you with your next engine build.
Happy New Year to all of you! Gasoline forever...

I'm actually making some progress on my Dart, and I will be dropping the engine block/trans in it soon as it warms up. I'm using our conversion spool mounts for the A-body, and will build the brackets coming off the K-frame. Need to mount the Kirkey buckets, plumb the fuel system, wire it, etc, and there is a mountain of fab work to do.

Love the quote in your profile, BTW. I need to remember that one.

Mike

Welcome back sir. Something to be said for working with your passion in your chosen career field. Turning wrenches can be therapeutic and enjoyable when working on your own stuff, but not so much for a paycheck in my opinion.

Funny thing is, there's a few photos of me from the early '70s, and we could be twins.
