Hi,
Got 1.6 Crane rockers with a big lift cam, not suprisingly they hit the covers. (440-512 Sroker,Source Heads,Comp XE290S- Howards lifters)

Whats the concensus??
1 "relieve" the insides of the covers ( probably not an option as they dont even clear the unbaffled parts!)

2 use two gaskets.

3 Find some alternative BB Mopar covers from another year

4 find some aftermarket covers(which ones are taller?)

Any comments greatly appreciated.

Aftermarket covers... I perfer to look stock as I'm guessing you do as well... I finally decided to use the Indy plain covers... The only real issue I had with them is theres no provision or baffles.. I wound up epoxying six threaded standoffs per cover to mount baffles.. The top surface is to thin for me to feel comfortablr trying to TIG to... Other than that pretty nice covers, the gasket rail is excellent..Once they are painted they won't be to obvious...
