SoCal car. Always garages and extremely well cared for. Might recognize it from print back in the day. This book was published in 1989 Is that the original engine color, looks like race Hemi orange.

Yup,, Nobu's was well known back in the day. In the Valley, Jennings' place was popular - the son did my 1st Road Runner. He told me that on his post-dyno test drive, he annihilated a Camaro Jennings did my brother’s 70 Mach I once. Figuring Nobu’s location in Hollywood, I bet they had A-list celeb customer list with just an impressive car list. I found a thread on a 375 horse Camaro sold by original owner in West Hollywood with a Nobu’s sticker on it: https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1307518And this article too: https://inthegaragemedia.com/nobu-oshiro-built-old-school-1968-chevy-camaro-rs/

IMO the closest/practical available option would be the 1968-'69 F70-14 Goodyear SPEEDWAY it is available in "white streak" (& some additional blue paint/dye/marker work) Thank you. Yea, I think this car is worthy of bias ply’s. That looks like my best bet so far. Anyone know of a really good white to blue sidewall dye/process ? If I went radials, I’d run 15” with my Spyder Rims (still need ctr caps)

This car has a lot of red primer showing on the underside.
Does this look like it was overspray from the red exterior primer?
Were these cars dipped in red vs grey/black primer?
The rear quarter red shows because the factory didnt get the ZZ1 gold paint coverage down there

My 2 cents.
I would not use the f70 series tires just because it's a Goodyear.
The profile of the tire is completely wrong and instantly identifiable they are wrong.
I would go with the repop BF tires in the correct size. Sidewall color and profile of the tire

Seems like an NOS type air cleaner element ?
I would say the odds are pretty good for that. AFAIK, there have only been 2 repops made of the round element. With the primary difference was the inner screen( just dont remember said differences ) Pictures of said current repop

What process is used in "non agressive cleaning" Simple green and soft brush? Whatever you are doing seems to work well.

I did that with water and old toothbrush. Then diluted simple green. Then rinse with water and bat down with terry cloth. The inspection marks tend to show better when still wet. On the stainless and chrome, I’m using Wenol on soft paper towel or microfiber cloth with Q-tips in crevices. I’ve only done the drivers front hubcap, wheel well trim then drivers side tailight and bumper Those front wheel wells are completely untouched ! Interior untouched !

Thank you. I've used the soft brush and water/simple green. Tried to stay away from the super aggressive stuff. I'm familiar with the wenol as when starting out he's have a booth at local nor cal shows. It looks to work well.
Yes. We had them a Spring/Fall Flings years ago. And he'd do the Pomona and Long Beach swap meets. I believe SemiChrome product works similar.
