Hi all, so I'm looking to Id a 727 the numbers are in the photo .. the tailshaft has the snap ring acces on the side.. ty for any help

By the reinforcements cast in across the top of the case and the style of print of the "pk" number that has to have been one of the last 727s made.

I tried to use the ID search. It said 61.. but I know that's not right..

It is off a magnum engine so it has to be a 92 or newer. I would guess 92 to 96 and most likely out of a van with the tailshaft snap ring cover on the side.

PK52119176 is the number. 3-Speed Automatic, 36RH

What I found out 78 to 89... 3/4 ton and 1 ton vans and trucks

The pic's are a bit confusing as they don't show the 727 front servo bulge an the pan , might be a 904 But i doubt they'd put one in the application you mentioned

I didn't know the application but I could tell that it was very late model and most likely a truck or van. Looks like it is big and heavy.

Wrong. Its a 92 or newer from a magnum. The U shape hole is for the crank sensor which started in 1992.

Good catch, I didn't notice that sensor notch.

PK52119176 is a 36RH from a '94-'95 Ram 1500 or 2500 2-WD or van with 5.2L engine.

So Why the pic's of two different transmissions ? 1st pic bolted to a motor is a 727 and appears to be correctly identified. The 3rd & 4th pics look like a 904

My guess is the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing.

i switched hands one time, and the outcome wasn't what i expected.........

When I did that it felt like a stranger and the outcome exceeded normal expectations. 🙄 🤣
