I was looking for a better dock for my DeWalt battery that powers the nitrous bottle heater. There's nothing wrong with the 3D printed one, but it made me a little nervous that it could break, so I was looking for something a little sturdier. I came across this one by gobilda that is a smart dock and has built in protections! I killed a new 20v last year by discharging it too far and all the attempts to revive it have failed. This will prevent that from happening! I figured someone else might be able to benefit if you're using a cordless battery to power things for the race car or almost anything. https://www.gobilda.com/gobilda-smart-dock-for-20v-battery-dewalt-20v-max-compatible/

That's a slick setup, thanks for sharing. I have a bunch of M18 stuff and hope they'll eventually make something similar for those. They really seem like the hot ticket for bottle warmers if you don't want to be a caveman and use a torch, lol

Besides, with my setup it's easy to flip a switch, shut the trunk and walk away.
