I forgot HOW OLD I AM. I emailed Bob Mosher to ask a couple questions and see if he had some old parts/samples I need. Bob said he's closed and retired and wont be able to do a 62 Savoy for me now frown

His email, "Jim ,Actually I have been into Mopars since 1963, when my best friend picked up his then new 1963 Plymouth savoy 11 .to one compression Red Car with a black and off white interior. We beat every car on the boulevard so I was hooked from then on. Bob"

I know this is a Belvedere but I'd take one of those too (if I hit the lottery or start a Go Fund Me)

i'm up there with ya, or past !
i remember when those cars were new, and i always wanted to do a 62 dart post car !
i got the whole complete top end for one of those engines way back in the 1992-3-4 [maybe 1990 ?] or before time period when i owned a 64 plymouth belvedere post car.
sold that car in very late 1995 or early 1996.
i still have the max setup, and i might put it on my "never ending" 1933 dodge panel truck project.
beer

Yeah, I also forget how old I am, and that people retire...I seem to think folks stopped aging by 2000 realcrazy laugh2
I always liked Mosher's builds...and I've wanted a '62 Savoy or Belvedere 2-door for years now.
I remember watching the '63s cleaning house at San Fernando...

Since Mosher was local to SoCalifornia..
He often brought his max wedge cars to the CPW Spring Fling @ Van Nuys Woodley Park.
They were very well done and extremely detailed..

Just my $0.02... wink

I’ve seen several of his builds, some incredible and nicely detailed cars. Big loss to the hobby with his retirement.

Might try Bob Menoa. Big early B body guy. Raced super stockers back in the day. Lives up in Tehacapi, CA. Member Hosehead has some connections. Might try and reach out to him.

Guy in my car club had them do a 65 Plymouth with a Hemi. Silver with red interior, car was absolutely stunning, and was really high strung with that hemi. I believe it developed a paint issue on the roof, but they shipped it back to California from PA and made it right.

Funny thing: I always confused Tehachapi and Temecula, though they're vastly different areas.

I remember an article years ago about Menoa (sp)?: dude had quite the stash of cars & parts.

Pretty sure Bob Munoa is still down by Temecula…. I met him and Todd Hoffman at the Wally Parks Heritage Race at Famoso back in October and it sounded like he was starting to sell off.
