gch OP master Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 3,140 Central NC	I have an 8.25 rear in my 72 Newport that I want to change gears in. It appears I have a 2.45 ratio. Is it possible to run a lower gear in this case? I have several gears and a later trak loc but I think the case needs to be of a 2.76 or lower ? Hoping you guys can set me straight. I can always dran an 8.75 or 9.25 out of arts cars I have but man this would be a lot easier.
