Anyone else have this issue?

Original from my A12 and new repop. Pretty disappointing at $56 bucks plus shipping.

Who's the vendor? Have you talked to them?

I got (2). Both from the same reputable vendor. Bought one separate, then the other came in a full pan kit (which is pretty nice). Sent them an email with pics, but no response as of yet. My thoughts are that they are just reselling and all are coming from same supplier.

Feasible, but shouldn't have to correct seller mistake here.

Just a comment, I'd be leery of cutting more threads. Over the years I've seen pickups that appeared to have rolled threads and those that appeared to have cut threads. I saw an OEM pickup with cut threads completely fail due to vibration. Not pretty.

I vaguely remember the problem being straight threads versus tapered threads. Either one can be reproduced.

The new pickup shown in that picture is the Melling 63-S4. It doesn't fit anything correctly, it's too long.

We make the correct pickup that fits a 402 pan. It's not the same as any others on the market. It's our part number 111-1007.
