The right side bearing hub on 2007 Ram 1500 is shot. The wheel was ready to fall off and I parked it just in time. I bought new Detroit Axle, axles and bearing hubs. I test fit the new parts to check spline engagement and the bearing hubs wobble on the axle! They don't even come close to going on tight. Your thoughts.. Anyone know if there were more than 1 spline/bearing hub size for a 2007 Ram 1500 4X4?

I had to press the original bearing hub off the shaft. The new parts slide on and rattle around. Haven't measured diameters yet but there is a big difference. Rechecked the pn's and they suppose to be correct.

Rechecked the pn's and they suppose to be correct. The new axle should easily slide into the new hub. They are not pressed together. Once the nut is torqued to spec it should be tight. Your old one was most likely rusted together. Detroit Axle is known for selling cheap Chinese junk.

Your old one was most likely rusted together. Detroit Axle is known for selling cheap Chinese junk. The axle ISN'T RUSTED because there is no room for rust and for it to come off that way it had to have been drove on with an impact which of course they were because it was the assembly line. (didn't read did you?) IT RATTLES AROUND and tightening a nut isn't going to crush the splines to make up for the size issue. It doesn't matter because I found the problem. It's the new axles. So I'll continue to use the originals but with new bearing hubs.
