I'd seen the book before but had no idea who the author was, learned something today.

Cool - I've seen it before, might even have one.
I have a bunch of that stuff, and FSMs as well, that I should probably pass on.

Chrysler produced a book in about 78 that covered motor and chassis set ups and offered it through their Direct Connection program. I used that book so much it fell apart. I had to buy an "updated" version in 1980, the 80 version also included a section covering the oval track Kit Car motor and chassis setups. That poor book also fall apart. In around 81 (or 82) Chrysler split the one book into separate books, Motor, Chassis, and Oval Track. I still have those here, they are pretty warn.. Around 1990 they redid the separate books into one book again and updated everything. The latest editions lost a lot of info that was covered the earlier books.
