On the '69 Super Bee, Coronet was M46 more like the R/T / GTX with black bottom and bright bottom trim and wheel well trim like the '69 GTX or without the bright trim and with black bottom?

Had a very nice 69 roadrunner 383 4spd in the early 80’s. Was original paint Bahama yellow, black vinyl top, black deluxe interior. It had bottom black out and trim as your describing. Car was very original except 383 short block was replaced with 361……

Wow up any photos by chance luck My A12 Y4 RR has had it since the second owner bought in in early 1971. It was on the RR when he bought it in March '71.

Did the B bodies get a special scoop for the M46 simulated air scoop option?
I can't tell from the pics.

@ronsrestorations There were supposedly about 400 of these BH 70 M46's produced.
I have 31 known to exist on my registry list. Look here for details on those 31.

As far as I know there are no new scoops available through Harms. I'm not speaking for him though. I ask occasionally and get a NO as a reply.
I'll gladly buy a few sets if they were remanufactured again.

Finding the scoops are quite the chore.

One M46 was used in a mopar comparison video against the 70 camaro. It's a cool video.
My posts on ebodies.org have each view captured and shown.

Hey A12, no I don’t have any photo’s of RR. A short term marriage back then ended up with me missing a few things, pictures included…... 🤬 It was a nice car bought new in Seattle area.

It's the simulated scoop in the below link.

The scoops shown above are attached to the rocker in front of the rear tire, the lower body is painted an accent color & a tape stripe seperates it from the main color....The scoops were so low that they really aren't very noticable plus they collected debris causing the rockers to rust so they are often removed when the car was repaired & painted...So now people try to restore cars & they are imposible to find...

I have only ever seen one Barracuda with these scoops. My first thought was "what kind of J.C. Witney crap is this?" laugh2

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.
