well - if you exclude a nitro funny car or top fuel dragster from the class - They get to 60MPH in about 0.4 seconds - then article written by a lousy journalist would be correct !
No doubt electric cars are can be really quick - its simply a fact that an electric motor can produce instantaneous max torque and maintain that as long as there is sufficient power - but I am not really interested in a car that can go less than 150 miles in the winter without charging - let alone have to worry about finding a charging station to get me home!
