I am trying to figure out a good way to keep my spark plug wires away from the TTI headers on my 470. Some of the wires are pretty clear of the header tube while some are pretty close. Been looking at looms but haven't found any yet that look like they would keep all of the wires away from the header tubes. My wires came with 90 degree boots on them and I'm thinking straight boots might be better. Any suggestions (with pics if possible) would be appreciated.

MSD make wires that have straight ends that are also "bendable", up to about 90*, just for this purpose. Works fine on my 440 w/ angle plugs and tti headers.

I run mine down. The front 4 come in from underneath. Come in from the inner fenders with the rear 4 wires. 5 & 7 get zip tied to the inner fender rail between the steering gear and frame rail. Then straight in towards the plugs. I have enouugh room on the right side to zip tie to the block. On TTI's I'd do it like the the left sid.Tie off to the frame rail and come straight in towards the plug. You may need wires a little longer but it works well and they're out of site.

I have 2" TTI on my 440 and run 90* on #2 & #4 coming under the front of the passenger-side header, but use straight plug boots on the rest. I don't have wire looms, but do use a lot of wire separators to group them... will have to look to see if I have any pics that show 'em clearly enough.

Edit: Not well focused, but gives the basic layout

My 64 it all goes underneath the headers, 90 degree boots. I need to get ahold of Rick for some new wires though. Was not sure if this would be the final location for them but so far no issues so need to measiure and have Rick make some..

On the parachute mount
just go Coil On Plug , mount the coils on the frame rails. couldnt be any easier to route the wires and they are super short ..... shruggy
