Removed from an aged street Hemi, no markings. Can anyone ID the maker/model?

Would a Carter M6903 be the right replacement? Is the Edelbrock 1723 (2x the price) any better?

It's a Carter M-6903 3-valve 8-bolt pump. Why not rebuild it, kits are available?

It's a ten-bolt pump.

That looks close to the long discontinued Mopar Performance P4529593 pump which is also a 10 bolt pump.

That would make sense- it's quite old. The lower diaphragm split and I'm getting less than 2 psi out of it.

Any preference Carter/Edelbrock?

It's now known as Carterbrock LOL,
I do believe carter has moved their performance pumps overseas, Edelbrock may have as well. One has larger in/out parts but (1/4 npt vs 3/8) can't remember which confused i do beleive the Carters have a lifetime warranty if they are still around if needed. beer

That is not the carter pump. It is an AC style pump. If you can find a hemi 4024 pump that would be best. The volume is more based on construction. The 6903 and 4862 have smaller chamber volume. They do work though. 4862 has a higher spring pressure and corresponding fuel pressure. If using original carter they will be fine.

I looked closer and found the numbers "869" and the legend MADE IN CANADA. I think if I could find the material to replace the lower diaphragm the rest of the pump would work fine.

Why was it removed, was it working? Normally your replacing diaphragm, check valves (don't want them if they leak by) and air dome diaphragm.

No pressure. This is clearly a vintage pump, so I'll bag it and place it with all my other treasures.

Replaced with an Edelbrock 1723, car is running again. boogie
