The body shop disappeared some of the holes for my windshield and rear window molding clips. The car is BH23, Barracuda coupe or notchback.
I'm re-holing according to my disassembly sketches, below.
The factory original screws were apparently wax tipped Phillips head #8-18 x 3/8, probably zinc plated carbon steel, because most were rusted away and difficult to remove. The same size special screws sold in kits for wheel opening moldings, Phillips round washer tapping #8-18 x 3/8", chrome-plated stainless steel with wax tip, is what I will use for the new clips, which is overkill, since the clips themselves are carbon steel, not chrome-plated stainless. The recommended drill bit size for #8-18 tapping screws is #29 or 0.136". But 9/64" or 0.140 will probably work. I'll pilot drill with my 1/8" solid carbide drill bit since it never dulls - this is a really nice tool to have and makes hand drilling pilot holes much faster and easier.
The windshield had 2 kinds of clips. The seven bottom clips nearest the cowl and numbered 13 -19 in the sketch look to be the same as the back window clips, as explained
here. Note that some of the AMK part numbers are obsolete.
