Brand new calipers, rotors, lines, pads, fresh master cylinder, fresh rear brakes too. Booster professionally rebuilt.

Put on over 300 miles without an issue. Drive great and stopped great.

Last few times out start to get a rumble and feels like the pedal had no movement left (feels like it lost power brakes, gets a hard pedal) but the brakes work the rears.
You can smell the pads cooking.

Has happened last few times out.

Just got it home and both rotors over 500 degrees with an IR. Rears around 125 on the drums.

Pulled the wheels, opened the bleeder both sides and not much pressure/fluid comes flying out.
Calipers feel somewhat free with a pinch bar. Once it cools down all is well.

Anyone have a clue what’s up? Bad calipers or ?

I'd check the adjustment on the pushrod between booster and master.

What’s your thought on this?
It was adjusted day 1 and it’s fine until I drive it. Car had no issues for the first couple hundred miles.

Facts are stubborn things.

Front hoses, porp valve, MC, Pushrod adj.

#1 unlikely both woulld go bad at the same time BUT????
#2 Unlikely as opening the bleeders is not pushing fluid
#3 Most likely culprit but again not pushing fluid out
#4 possible you are on the ragged edge with the adjustment.

I would suggest the following:
Count the number of stops until the condition appears. A gradual buildup of pressure is usually related to #4
Drive the car and repeat the above.
If the condition is repetitive drive it again and as soon as the condition appears Crack the front brake line open at the MC (with a rag under it) and close as soon as the pressure is bled off.
One could also return to the garage and get the front wheel off the ground ASAP to see how much drag is on them. release pressure at the bleeders first and work back towards the master. May have to repeat more than once.
If it is between the calipers and master releasing One bleeder should free both sides. IME #4 is usually the culprit especially if both fronts are dragging wink
Keep us posted beer

Thanks. I see the relevance now on the MC adjustment.

with today's new item "quality", it wouldn't surprise me if it turns out to be a combination of items.
really sad, especially the cost one incurs purchasing said "quality" parts.

Indeed. Shotgunning a repair just introduces more potential problems.
