I have a 2017 Challenger R/T Shaker with the 5.7 hemi. Bought the car with 40,000 miles and a fresh oil change. I changed it again at 47,000. It is now coming up on 54,000, and the oil life gauge shows 37%.
Should I stick to the 7,000 mile interval, or wait a bit longer until the oil life gauge goes down?

I do all my late model stuff at 7,000 regardless of what the gauge says. Mobil One in all of them

I recommend 5k miles. Fluids are so cheap. 12 quarts of mobile 1 is $50? At Walmart. The filters are around $10-15.00 or buy 2 of the 5 quart deals at advance or auto zone that come with filter for around $35, and grab another 5 qt jug at Walmart for $28ish bucks. These engines rely on fluids being clean to operate properly, amongst so.e other things in your control....
