Might be really looking at getting into a G3 and want to see what kind of builds you guys have done. I really like Ray's old Barracuda with a NA G3 which I think sports a tunnel ram now. But boosted builds welcome.

Me too..All I have is my slow little bracket car. Not many drag week type cars running Gen III.
Other than Ray I know Dave Weber at MMX maybe a couple more.
If I wanted to build one it would be boosted with a Whipple 3.0.

I think that new Whipple 3.0 is so ugly....

I have a 5.7 Hemi in a 73 Challenger. The engine has drop in pistons, TSP cam 226/235 .582/.582 114+3, Prefix single plane intake, MPI with Holley 1000 cfm throttle body and a Torqstorm supercharger. The car weighs about 3700 lbs with driver. Best ET 10.31 at 132.70 mph with a really lazy 1.5649 60’ time. The car has been 1.43 60’ time with a 430 LA SBM. The car should run high 9s with a transbrake and launching with boost.

10.19 @ 132 on pump gas. 6.4 block. 11 to 1 compression, thitek heads. comp cam 256/266 @ .050 .613 lift, ritter intake with 1050.

Ray Meyer's combo that ran 9.70s back in 2016 is one I would like to duplicate if I built an NA Hemi. 9.70s on pump gas at 3200ish lbs is pretty awesome in my book.

One on forabodiesonly just went 6.30 at 2900 pounds NA. Races weekly.

Mine and my Son's Street/Strip cars.

My Road Runner, 3150 lbs, 425" Gen 3 Hemi, 12:1 compression, Thitek Heads, NA, Full Interior, drive it around on weekends and to work once a week, usually, pump gas on the street, MS109 at the track, best so far 9.04 @ 147, 5.73 @ 119, 1.27 60ft.

My Son's Duster, 3020 lbs, 428" Gen 3 Hemi, BGE Heads, Fogger, 12.5:1 compression, Caltracs/Sliders on rear, 26 x 8.5 Tire, Totally stock front suspension, Full Interior, drive it around on weekends and to work occasionally, pump gas on street, C23 at the track, Runs RTRA Limited Street 235 Class, best so far 5.15 @ 132, 1.15 60ft, on an .036 jet. Had an engine mishap in February at Lights Out, just got motor back together. Goal is high 4.90's. We're about 70lbs heavy for the class as well. Only need to weigh 2950. That will be rectified this off season.

it's expensive in Australia, So its a budget engine. 77 Valiant , 6.4 with drop in pistons & rods, home ported heads , stock valves , ported 6.1 intake 95 mm TB , HC injectors, 239/251 .605 Johnson short travels .
Pump fuel, 904 TF, 5000+ converter, 3.89 gears , around 3500lb race weight. Best 1/4 10.49 @ 126.7 best 1/8 6.61 @ 102.7 .
