I'm looking to get a newer mini starter replacing the 1971 2875560 on a 413 industrial (7.5-1 compression), preferably a nose-less.
It is going into the 2015 8HP70 trans via the JVX adapter kit and I'd like to not carve out the bell if possible.
413 starts on first cylinder so that is easy.

So, what 10 tooth noseless starter numbers will fit?

You'd think J could answer that question, put it in the instructions too.

Lazy customer service is what it is.

Spoke with John at JVX re starters for the 413/440 ZF swap and he suggested 90-95 Dodge RAM/Dakota with 2 posts and cut the nose off. Newer ones are smaller and might be less powerful(?).
Ex: https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/...automotive-truck-1992-dodge-dakota?pos=2

There are also new instructions posted in the last couple weeks
