moparacer top fuel Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 2,497 PA	Scoops can catch a ton of air. Years ago when I put a 440 6 pack hood on my old Duster the first pass I noticed it was bowing up in the middle bad. This was only running mid 11s. It broke the middle support. I figured it was cracked or something so the next week fixed and supported it and it broke it again.... It was a hinge latch setup and the scoop caught so much air it pulled the latch setup out of the hood eventually. Cowl hood is back on it....At least as long as I remember the hood pins. Mean while, I am looking for a more original looking six pack scoop, maybe even a little shorter.
