This coming weekend, it is the annual GIS Automotive PID-Keystone Nostalgia Nationals, presented by Seubert & Associates! The event has grown, and we are adding show cars, with NITRO, on Friday night, with fireworks! Show cars will run on Friday night and Saturday, but will not run Sunday. Sunday will be all bracket racing. Car cruise is Saturday and Sunday. Bill Truby’s picture collection will be on display. Please read the detail schedule below, and refer to the flyers.
Friday, September 22 – Show cars and Pro Stick class only. Gates open 4:30pm, autograph session from 6pm-7pm, racing starts at 7pm. Show car sessions are at 7:30pm and 9pm, with fireworks after the 9pm session. There will be nitro fuel altereds, a nitro fuel funny car, Great Lakes Nostalgia alcohol funny cars, front engine dragsters, and Scott Rods AA gassers.
Saturday, September 23 – Gates open at 9am. 1 time trial for Hot Rod Eliminator No Box (1/4 mile, footbrake only, no transbrakes) and Hot Rod Eliminator Box (1/4 mile, transbrakes and delay boxes allowed) at 10am, followed by Pro Stick, Street Stick, and Nostalgia Stock/Super Stock. Show cars (nitro fuel altereds and funny car, nostalgia funny car, front engine dragsters, and Scott Rods AA Gassers) run at 6pm and 9pm. All cars 1991 and older, with the exception of the stick shift classes.
Sunday, September 24 - Gates open at 9am. 1 time trial for Hot Rod Eliminator No Box (1/4 mile, footbrake only, no transbrakes) and Hot Rod Eliminator Box (1/4 mile, transbrakes and delay boxes allowed) at 10am, followed by Pro Stick, Street Stick, Nostalgia Stock/Super Stock, and Old Farts (racer must be 60 or older). There are no show car sessions. All cars 1991 and older, with the exception of the stick shift classes.
$30 for spectators, kids 10 and under admitted free, weekend spectator pass (Friday to Sunday) $70.
Car cruise is $20 for car and driver. Passengers pay spectator fee. First 125 cars each day receive a participant sticker.
Hot Rod Eliminator $35 entry, $400 to win, $175 runner up, $100 semis.
Nostalgia Stock/Super Stock $50 entry, $700 to win, $300 runner up.
Old Farts (Sunday only) $25 entry, $250 to win, $100 runner up.
