Anyone got any info or pics of an Indy Maxx block rear cap with the seals installed, I assumed it used the standard stuff but according to my engine builder buddy they dont work. Having a hard time visualizing what it looks like in my head and there doesn't appear to be much out there in the interweb ether grin
TIA up

I used a Fel-pro seal but siliconed the sides with no seals. Birdtracker

Uses a stock seal and 1/8' o-ring cord stock across the bottom and sides. There is a hole on the bottom of the main cap to insert the o-ring cord into. It goes across the bottom and up the sides. Add a dab of silicon in the corners and install.
This is the only pic. I have.

Thanks guys, it was the side seals that were confusing me. Also my engine builder says the stock crank seal doesn't fit ??? maybe I sent him some small block ones grin

They use an o ring thats been cut & glued into the groove, but I've had issues with it pulling out during install or shrinking back after install, so now I just fill with 3 Bond or similar & know it aint going to leak.

First time together mine didn't leak, This time it has a very small leak along the O-ring somewhere. Haven't narrowed it down yet.
