I don't know about the 4.7 - I hear bad things about them, but maybe they're not all bad ? - but that looks like a nice truck & a good price.

I had an '01 like that.
I loved the 4.7 until it got a lot (230K) of miles on it.
It's SOHC with a complicated timing chain set up. The timing chains started getting noisy.
Also, aluminum heads on cast iron block. Coolant got low when my daughter borrowed it for awhile, lost a head gasket.
I traded it off, but wish I still had it. In hindsight I'd have put a reman engine and a new radiator in it and kept on truckin'! drive

Same here and even if they are okay I just can't get into them (4.7).

When the 4.7 dies...it usually dies big. And, they are not easy to come by. I was thinking more for a modern Hemi swap
