I have a wiper switch in my 72 Demon that works but when i turn the wipers on to speed one then go to speed two they delay, then start and in the position, it makes like a boing sound like a spring does when you tap the side of it with a screwdriver. I am having a rough time finding a reasonable priced nos one. can this be taken apart, cleaned and rebuilt?
Thank you Kiddart

Are you asking about the wiper motor or switch?

Crap. i just reported my own thread.
I had an old broken one that was missing a terminal, so I pulled it apart did some cleaning of the bras or copper inside put back together. I will bench test it sooner or later before i dig into the one in the demon.
sorry moderators for reporting this thread.
Thank you Kiddart
