WIW - as is, running on car. Front carb. Was taken apart, cleaned (was in great shape), new gaskets throughout.
Standard jets and rods for 1971 Manual Street Hemi, even though it’s a prior MY carb. Runs great, no leaks.

Looks like a D8 dated 4430S, so a late build 68 hemi front carb. I quickly looked on FB at previous carbs, and mostly sets show up. That said Tom at rocket restorations out in Washington had a set clean cores with choke for sale at $2500.00. They were D8 dated automatic carbs that show to have sold.
Andrew Sonntag who goes by 938-DAN on here sold a set of restored Manual trans carbs by crossram connection for $3200.00 back in January of 2022. they show sold.
I mention that to hopefully give a ballpark value to a set of carbs, but the rear carb will always have the most value due to the choke set up. IMO the value of a 68 front carb in running condition would be in the $1000.00/$1200.00 range.

thanks Matt for your efforts. For all the information / help transman has provided in the Q&A section a few more responses would be nice wink

Thanks for the replies so far.

Ultimately I am looking to work at getting a good used core 71 manual trans carb for my GTX.

I don’t want to get hosed or hose anyone - just want to be fair if a trade/trade and cash opportunity comes my way.

While I would GUESS a good secondary Hemi carb has a value around $1000-$1500, I haven't researched it; those are just "for sale" numbers I recall.
If it was me, I'd ask Scott Smith @ Harms Auto - he deals with them.

What is your rear carb number and date? Is it a moded 70, or actual 71 part number.
