Is anyone aware of a replacement shifter handle for 80's a833 trucks? Or have the measurement of the factory piece?
A previous owner of my truck cut and welded the stick to gain setback and the shifter doesn't sit centered in the boot.

I can't answer your questions, but can suggest an alternative if the handle is no longer available. A long time ago, I saw pictures of a pistol grip shifter from a B-body installed in a truck. It was said to be a bolt in deal. I believe those shifters are being reproduced and parts are available for them. There were several B-body pistol grip shifters made. I do not recall which one works best in the trucks. If you are interested, perhaps someone else will have more information.

Hopefully, someone else can answer your questions. It would probably be more cost effective to repair your current shifter. I prefer the pistol grips though!
