Has anyone here patronized services through AMD Installation Center? If so how much did they charge to install quarter panels and floor pans?

Thanks

A friend of mine is having his '69 Dodge Coronet done there. He was told $35K to do all the metal work. I know the car needs 1/4s, wheel wells, and a trunk. I would have to ask him what other metal it needs. There must be more to it than that. I remember him saying it was rusty. He is on a waiting list. When his turn comes up he has to pay half up front. Either that or he already paid half. I don't remember which.

The Installation Center did the metal work on my 68 Charger about a year ago. The rust repair was extensive, The picture of it stripped with some primer on the inner rood structure and cowl are the only pieces that remain of the original car. I had been buying lot's of sheet metal prior to Covid and the supply chain issues so I was into the parts pretty cheap comparatively.

So far I am very pleased with the work. The car is on a wait list for body and paint. I am sure there will be a few issues with all the reproduction parts, but overall, all the body lines and gaps are very nice. Communication was very good, and most importantly, they got it in and got it done when they said they would. I got sort of lucky since I had all the parts they needed. At that time, a lot of builds were waiting on parts. Since I had all the parts they marked up the labor as they normally sell the parts at retail.

My biggest regret is not making two four-day round trips with hotels, meals and fuel to haul my car down to those guys. In fact, at the time I had my car done USCarTool was still doing their $15,000 "body in white" deal !!
