I have a 70 Cuda 440-6 project car that I should keep and but should sell. I wonder what I could get for mine. It is a V code with build sheet and fender tag. B5 blue, hemi 4 speed and 410 Dana. Super track pack. All original sheet metal other than one quarter replaced out with an AMD unit due someone putting in a million holes to pull a dent. I had the car painted years ago and it is only partially assembled. The original dana is in the car. I have the matching transmission with shifter and driveshaft. I have the original block, a set of rebuilt 906 heads, the intake manifold, partial carbs but no crank, rods, pistons. I do have the harmonic balance and air cleaner assembly. It is a non-shaker car. It is a rally dash car. new legendary seat covers, rebuilt correct master cylinder. I am not missing much. what would this be worth?

Your car checks a lot of boxes. Matching numbers, fender tag and build sheet, great color, rallye dash, mostly original sheetmetal, and already in paint,4 speed super track pack car! The only box not checked is the shaker hood. I would guess the car is worth 75k as it sits, and maybe 125k to 150k when it is finished. if I were you I wouldn't sell it,you won't be able to replace it,and you know how good the car is under the paint.

Are all the other parts restored, unrestored, or driver quality? That would certainly drive the price. $75K with the engine needing rebuilt and other parts needing restored could be strong or right on the money.

Agreed, the condition of the rest of the car / parts could drive the price up,,,,,,,or down.

But IMO to pull 75k or more the car pretty much has to be 100% done and ready to assemble. Even then it may be a lofty goal. Projects are hard to move.

You’d be leaving a lot of money on the table to get out now. I bet it’d pull more than any of us think given all those bullet points. There’s a guy out there that would love to get into a 150k car for a third off and put it together in his garage. It’s just that you’d be handing him that much money for the pleasure. Don’t know your situation, so just tossing that out there.

I want my fair share

I agree and stand by my number of 75k as is. Find another matching numbers,V code 440+6 1970 Cuda,4 speed super track pack car, with all original sheetmetal except for one panel,in paint,in an awesome color combo, with the original fender tag and build sheet.
