How were 1970-2 A Body front sway bars originally finish? Bare/natural or painted? If painted,brushed,dipped? Thanks for any info

I would have thought someone else would have the answer on the 70-72 ones.
I will give my 2 cents but on my 1973 it was bare so light rust.
No evidence of paint.
I did push the question back to top.
